First of all, it is important to understand that there is no standard admission process into German tuition-free university, if there were any, then it would be to search for a course, check the requirements, gather them (documents), apply to the schools/courses and then wait for the admission notification (acceptance/rejection).

But many factors come into play in the whole process, like the application window for the course, university entrance qualification, grade requirement for the course, language of studies….. And so on.

Recommendation is to know the basic procedure/information, then search for the course that you want to apply for (and alternatives, always recommended) and start treating each process (course/university) on a case by case basis.

I will list out some important tools and information to use:

    1. Use the tool shared by @E.Wagner to check your eligibility to study in Germany. Their tool will help you know if you have the right qualification to study in Germany. Check her post/timeline for the details.

    2. Watch the following videos shared by @Wohks

    b. Preparatory program to study in Germany for undergraduates

    c. German University Applications | Courses, Tuition Fees & Student Jobs

    3. Read the blog posts shared by @arkaden

These initial steps should give you enough information to start. Feel free to ask your questions or comments by replying to this discussion.

Hey @shurgas007 you can look at these universities; the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, the Technical University of Munich Germany, and also the Culinary Art Academy in Switzerland.

These schools are not entirely free and might even charge a price for this course given that it is often expensive to study abroad, but i will suggest you call in and discuss further with a service offer. There should be variations in scholarships, grants and tuition prices…

For culinary arts, there may be two options, a Bachelor’s degree as you asked for, or an Ausbildung, which may be more fitting for this kind of profession.
How much do you know about Ausbildung? Maybe this article will help you get started:

Meanwhile, to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Germany, please take note of the original post on this Gist.
