Bachelor’s degree programs are available only in the winter semester. This means that the application starts in mid-April and the deadline is July 15.
The specific application process and requirements depend on the course of interest. You have to check this individually. Take note of your application number, because this is what you will use to communicate further with the university once your application has started.
As with many other universities, international applicants have to apply via uni-assist. Click here to learn how to apply via uni-assist. International applicants mean candidates/students that earned their university entrance qualification from outside Germany. Uni-assist helps with the initial screening to ensure you meet all the requirements. The university then makes the final selection and grants admissions.
Be aware of degree programs with restricted admission, numerus clausus (nc), and those without nc. Degree programs with nc mean that they have limited space for that course, hence if more applications are received than the available spots, a selection procedure will be used to further screen the candidate.
Pro tip: Go for courses without nc; once you meet the requirements, you can be sure of a study place. I will make a post with the list of courses without nc.
