    But you need to be familiar with some information about the Au Pair jobs and mode of operation in Belgium.

    Au Pairs in Belgium work a maximum of 20 hours per week including the babysitting hours. According to the regulations, these duties should not exceed more than 4 hours per day.

    Au Pairs from Non European Union (EU) countries are not allowed to work outside their Au Pair family.

    Belgium establishes that the Host Family must pay 450 Euros per month to their Au Pairs.

    Furthermore, Au Pairs in Belgium should have at least one free day every week and one complete weekend per month. The Au Pair program does not offer official information regarding the Holiday entitlement. However, one free week per six months stay is suggested.

    It should be noted that the participants in Belgium must attend a language or culture course for at least three months. The course has to be approved by one of the communities or determined by the Regional Minister.
