    I read somewhere that an employee with technical skills makes a good employee but an employee with technical and soft skills makes a great employee!

    A company can always train employees to improve on “hard” skills like a coding language, but soft skills rely more on personality qualities that are more built into each person. Emphasize them in interviews and applications when possible.

    Depending on whatever it is you might be doing, you could be unintentionally honing a variety of soft skills that you could transfer to your new tech role.

    Think about past performance reviews and good things past supervisors and coworkers have said about you. Showcase your passion, knowledge, and personality throughout the hiring process

    I used to think soft skills are skills like coding, designing and other digital skills. Never thought about them as personality-related stuff. Good to know.

      I’m glad.

      Soft skills are things like effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving and accountability.

      It’s a bonus to have all of them😂
