Growing up, a lot of people traveled the world through books. It’s not surprising that a lot of adults take to traveling the world as soon as they can afford it. As kids, we travel with our imaginations, now we can just do it. If you were that kind of kid and you are trying to rekindle your wanderlust or you are simply trying to find inspiration about places to go, let’s do it the old way and revisit books. Do you want to be inspired? Check out these three books.

    The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

This is a personal favourite. It is a book that tells the story of a young shepherd boy and his journey from Spain to Egypt. It is a motivational book that inspires you to follow your dreams. You are going to love it!

The Lost City of Z by David Grann

Ever wondered what it’s like to wander through the Amazon forests? Follow Andrew Fawcett on his exciting journey!

    American Shaolin by Matthew Polly

You remember watching Jackie Chan and Jet Li as a kid? Remember how you wished you were a Kung Fu martial artist? Well, you can live vicariously through the adventures of Matthew Polly in his memoir.
