    NASA offers a variety of internship opportunities to high school through graduate-level students attending full-time accredited programs. Internships leverage NASA’s unique missions and programs to enhance and increase the capability, diversity and size of the nation’s future STEM workforce. They offer Pathways internship and JPL summer internship programs.
    The Pathways Intern Program is the only internship program at NASA that offers a direct pipeline to full-time employment at NASA upon graduation. Pathways Interns have the autonomy to define their career paths at NASA. At the beginning of the internship, interns develop an “Individual Development Plan” that will define assignments, training events, and learning opportunities aligned with their goals.
    Students are partnered with JPL scientists or engineers, who serve as the students’ mentors. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in several enrichment activities, including tours, lectures and career advisement, arranged by the JPL Education Office.
