    The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at Japanese universities as undergraduate or research (masters / PhD) students under the Japanese Government. The scholarship is awarded to students with outstanding technical passion and skills to build a professional career in the field. The competitive and limited number of scholarships requires that students are only eligible when they are recommended by the Japanese embassy authority.

    To qualify for the scholarship, candidates must speak English, be citizens of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan, must not in any way be a Japanese citizen, and must be between 17-25 years to study an undergraduate course and below 35 years for a postgraduate course.

    The following are the benefits of the scholarship:

    *Monthly Stipend Allowance, and Preparatory Allowance.

    *Fees for the Entrance Examination and Tuition Fees at Universities will be paid by MEXT.

    *Traveling Expenses to Japan

    *Accommodation.
