Do you know that Germans are Master Planners?

If you have worked with them before, you will find out that they expect projects, proposals, and general works to be categorized and examined in great detail – paying attention to details could not be overlooked!

The strict adherence to schedules will inevitably ensure timely completion in the end—that’s the German way. If you are considering studying and/or working in Germany, be the epitome of professionalism and respect. Treating others with respect is just another tool Germans use to maintain order and enforce efficiency – ever heard of German machines?

Titles, certifications, and diplomas are taken seriously in Germany and therefore deserve respect – your education in Germany will give you a good life, this is almost guaranteed!

Because hierarchies are essential, one should always address their superiors with formal pronouns and titles unless agreed otherwise. Have you interacted with Germans professionally before?

So now you know how to act in the German work environment. What else would you like to know about working/studying/living in Germany?

Working in Germany could be very simple, but at the same time, depending on your personality, you could very much complicate things for yourself.

I have only worked in two countries – Nigeria and Germany, but can tell you boldly that you may not find the German work style in any other part of the world.

Compared to stories that I have heard about working in the UK & USA, Germany is a safe haven.

I’d like to know your opinions; what do you think?
