    The University of Yokohama National University is in the Japanese city of Yokohama, in the Kanagawa Prefecture. It was founded in 1876 and is a national university. In 1949, Yokohama National University was designated as a national university, and it now has five graduate schools and four undergraduate colleges.

    Applications are invited for Master’s and PhD degree programs. The university does not require English language test scores such as IELTS or TOEFL, which is the most intriguing and appealing aspect for international students. They are not required or compulsory; alternatively, students may submit their prior university or institute’s English competency certificate or medium of instruction certificate.     The Master’s program lasts two years, whereas the PhD program lasts three years.
