GRE stands for Graduate Record Examinations, which are required by many graduate programmes in the US and Canada. Meanwhile, regarding IETLS, it stands for International English Language Testing System and it is also required to obtain a visa aside from obtaining admission to study. However, IELTS is not required if you studied for your bachelor’s degree in English. Or if you completed a few years of studies in an English-speaking country.

Additionally, some universities admit non-English speaking foreign students “conditionally,” meaning they can enrol only if they complete the Intensive English Language Program (IELP), a university-preparatory course that teaches students from outside the fundamentals of the English language.

They could occasionally be required to show up for exams or interviews that the institution sets up to assess their suitability for a particular course.

Throughout the institution’s early years, Armour, his wife, Malvina Belle Ogden Armour (1842–1927), and their son Jonathan Ogden Armour (1863–1927), proceeded to provide financial support.
